How can we start changing our lives? The question is not simple, and the answers are even more complicated.
Today, my friend and I were walking around and discussing something. We could not solve one problem. Suddenly I, during the conversation, said: "How can we change our lives?". My face was brooding. We stopped and looked at each other, she said it was a very interesting question, and we thought about it. In the end I decided to write about it.
We live this life, working constantly, solving important things, problems (sometimes they are not at all), hurry to the bus, subway, school, to work, to meet. With all that, with phones in hand. They still have time to check their phones, social media, as if their lives depend on it. Behind all this routine, we sometimes forget the most important thing. We do not notice some things. You are not a squirrel, and you do not have a wheel. Stop, breathe, look around, there is another side of life. Learn to rejoice in the little things. These little things actually play an important role in life. These little things and moments are remembered.
I redefined my life priorities and started to change my life gradually. I am still in the process because there is always something to aspire to.
Good sleep. I have already written about how I wake up early and how it affects me well. By good sleep, I mean, no smartphones before bed. Don't use your phone when you go to bed. This is important for full and healthy sleep. Using a smartphone before bed has a very bad effect on sleep. You want to sleep, and at the same time, you get your phone and start checking mail, social networks and everything else. After that, your sleep goes missing, your eyes strain, and your vision can deteriorate over time. It is a harmful habit. As a result, in the morning you wake up already tired as if you were working all night, not energetic, with a gray and withered face, with a headache. Plus, many people wake up in a bad mood, constantly late for work, and deep down are angry at themselves for not sleeping. At weekends, you do not have to sleep like a seal until 11, 12. The result is a headache and half of the weekend is wasted. Your life will certainly change if you go to bed and wake up on time.
Sleeping without using your phone is fantastic. I started putting my phone on airplane mode after 10 pm. The feelings after that are unusual and pleasant.
You can do so many things. Collect a puzzle, read a book, spend time with your family. Bake the cake. In autumn, I want apple pie so much).
You can read a book. I prefer bedtime reading with a cup of chamomile or green tea. Personally, it helps me to sleep well and peacefully. I wake up in a good mood and I have time to do all the work. You discover so much new for yourself. After all, we spend so much time behind smartphones, and life flows past us. Try to limit your phone time. Do not get stuck on phones. Try to instill only good habits, while getting rid of harmful ones.
Sports or physical exercise. I have always preferred an active lifestyle. But with a routine, you forget sometimes. Regular workouts, running, helped me look at life from a different angle, and start improving it. Some do not understand, but sports really can improve not only physical health but also psychological. It also helps to strengthen willpower. It is very important. And it is also helps stay in good shape. IN addition, it gives additional confidence and a positive attitude.
Food. I completely revised my diet. Added more vegetables and fruits. At first, I did not like to eat oatmeal, but now it comes first. Started drinking more water, 1 liter a day - useful for the body and mind.
Hobby. I have a lot of them. It is good to have hobbies, something to do besides work. What a hobby you have or what you would like to do, study. Sometimes collecting a puzzle, some figures, visiting the museum, etc., can really help to combat stress, depression, anxiety. So much interesting can be learned if you devote time to your hobby every day. As a result, thinking is developing, the outlook is expanding, there is something to discuss, to share.
Silence. It is worth to mention that, how important it is to spend time with myself. Being alone in silence is helpful. Try to spend time only with people pleasant to you, with positive people. With people who will support you, and have a good impact on you. As soon as I started doing this, I have an even greater desire for life, a desire to create, develop, communicate.
These are all listed items, for someone they may seem small things. But those little things helped me. I am going to share what helps me. As I wrote before I am still developing and looking ahead. I still have a lot to go through to be in harmony with myself. But I am glad I am on my way.
